Financial Analyst (FA725)

Job Description

Join Cablenet as a Financial Analyst and elevate our financial strategies to new heights. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving our financial performance through insightful reporting and analysis. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will contribute to financial planning, investor relations, and strategic decision-making at the highest levels.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare or contribute to monthly, half-yearly, and annual financial reports (both statutory and management)
  • Develop and maintain robust budgeting, forecasting, and financial models
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that support
  • organizational growth
  • Enhance financial reporting, improve forecasting accuracy, and ensure data integrity by streamlining FP&A processes and tools
  • Create clear, comprehensive presentations for the CFO, CEO, the Audit Committee, and the Board of Directors
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support external audits (financial, regulatory, and environmental)
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting; MBA or other relevant postgraduate degree is highly desirable
  • ACA, ACCA, or CPA qualification is a plus, but not required
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in financial roles
  • Advanced Excel skills are essential
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry is welcome but not mandatory
  • Proficiency with large-scale ERPs (e.g. SAP) and Business Intelligence (BI) tools is a strong advantage
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent communication and presentation skills
  • High level of ownership and accountability across tasks and projects
  • Strong team player
  • Fluency in both Greek and English
