Be at the heart of the technology that keeps services running.
At Cablenet, our networks support the way people communicate, work, and connect every day. As a NOC Support Engineer, you will help ensure the reliability and performance of our services by monitoring systems, resolving incidents, and working alongside technical experts.
This is an opportunity to grow your telecommunications expertise while making a real impact in a fast-moving technology environment.
What you will do:
- Be there when services need you. Provide first-line technical support for Cablenet’s production systems, services, and networks, troubleshooting issues and taking ownership of incidents through to resolution in line with established procedures and service levels.
- Keep an eye on what matters. Monitor network and service performance, proactively identify potential issues, and take appropriate action to minimise service impact. Escalate incidents to the relevant technical teams when further expertise is required.
- Solve problems together. Collaborate with Cablenet Engineers, Developers, and other technical teams to investigate complex issues, identify root causes, and support the timely restoration and improvement of services.
- Keep incidents moving. Manage support tickets throughout their lifecycle, ensuring appropriate prioritisation, clear communication, timely resolution or escalation, and accurate updates at every stage.
- Keep everyone informed. Communicate service-impacting incidents, planned activities, operational updates, and relevant developments to the appropriate teams and stakeholders, ensuring everyone has the information they need.
- Keep a clear operational record. Maintain accurate records of troubleshooting activities, resolutions, system events, and service incidents, and prepare operational reports and documentation as required.
- Keep Cablenet connected, around the clock. Work as part of the Network Operations Centre team to ensure continuous service availability and reliability. This is a 24/7 shift-based role, with shifts scheduled across days, nights, weekends, and public holidays as part of a structured team rota.
You will succeed in this role if you have:
- University degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a Network Operations Centre, technical support, or a similar role will be considered an advantage.
- Knowledge of networking concepts and technologies will be considered an advantage.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification will be considered an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to remain focused under pressure.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Fluency in both Greek and English.
