Changes in our Payment Methods

We would like to inform you that as of 11th January 2023, the payment method for automated monthly payments via credit card will be discontinued. Subscribers who have opted for this payment method will alternatively be able to transition to a Direct Debit (SEPA) mandate instead.

With the Direct Debit (SEPA) mandate, monthly bill payments will be made contactlessly, practically and automatically throughout the time frame that this payment method is selected. A renewal of the order will not be necessary every time the credit card expires, as is currently required.

We kindly request that all affected subscribers transition to an alternative payment method as soon as possible, in order to avoid any potential inconvenience.

Announcement regarding the TV services

Cablenet, based on the contracts with its Subscribers, would like to inform them that from July 1, 2022, the prices of the following TV Services will be changed as follows:

New Sports Content on the Cablenet TV platform!

Cablenet would like to inform its subscribers as of February 21, 2022, the Purple TV Star 2 package and the non-commercially available Complete TV and Premium TV packages are enriched with the following 2 new Novasports channels: Novasports6 (position 556), brings you a wide selection of exciting competitions from the world of sports. Tennis, golf, motorsports, fight sports and MMA, extreme sports and volleyball events offer sports fans unforgettable moments of action! Novasports Start (position 557), with spectacular sports action with football and basketball from Greece and Europe. Live matches from every top European football league, as well as basketball games from the Euroleague and the Eurocup! The new channels will automatically appear on the Cablenet TV platform to those subscribers who have the Purple TV Star 2, Complete TV and Premium TV packages in their subscription. New Channels added on the Cablenet TV platform!

Cablenet would like to inform its subscribers as of March 1, 2022, 2 new channels, enrich the Purple TV package, as well as the non-commercially available Variety TV and Start TV packages. Movies Best HD (position 101), the channel which offers a great selection of blockbusters, movie specials and premiers as well as award-wining films and all-time favourite productions form Hollywood and world cinema. HGTV HD (position 409), the channel which celebrates the spirit of ‘home’ – the space, the people and the feelings it inspires. Very popular for its reality shows on home renovations and real estate. The new channels will automatically appear on the Cablenet TV platform to those subscribers who have the Purple TV, Variety TV and Start TV packages in their subscription. Announcement regarding the TV services

Cablenet would like to inform its subscribers that from March 1, 2022, the price of the Variety TV and Start TV services will be increased by €1/month, based on their contracts. In this context, the Variety TV service will be expanded to include the HGTV (position 409) and Movies Best HD (position 101) channels as of March 1, 2022. If a subscriber wishes to unsubscribe from the above TV service due to this change, they have the right to do so, free of charge, until February 28, 2022. Migration of customers to the new systems of TV services

Cablenet will begin a phased migration of customers to the new TV services systems, which will last from January to April. During this migration, the electronic program guide (EPG), Replay TV (Catch-up) and On Demand services on Arion and Intek STB decoders may be affected. In this case, customers are advised to restart the Arion or Intek STB decoders either via the menu option (MENU>Configuration>System Settings>Restart Device) or via the switch ON / OFF on the corresponding socket to which the decoder is connected. Cablenet announces a series of measures about Cablenet Stores time and reinforces Customer Support and Digital Services.

Having a strong sense of responsibility as an organization and further to the new measures announced by the Government in order to protect the public and prevent the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), Cablenet actively supports the instructions given by the State Services to avoid mass gatherings of people and informs of the following:
  1. All Cablenet Stores will suspend operations starting from 12/1/21 until 31/1/21.
  2. Cablenet subscribers will only be able to pay their bills electronically, specifically using one of the following methods:
  1. Suspension of residential services will not be enforced this month. The Customer Call Center (130)as well as the Business Customer Call Center (120), will continue to operate normally and will provide any required information regarding the online payment of bills.
  2. Potential customers interested in Cablenet’s residential new services can apply online at www.cablenet.com.cy, by clicking ‘APPLY ONLINE’. At the same time, existing residential subscribers can make changes to their packages by calling the Customer Call Centre on 130.
  3. Cablenet store staff will assist in enhancing telephone support and guiding customers in using the company’s online channels and any other tasks required.

Our foremost priority is the safety of our employees, our subscribers, citizens and society at large. At the same time, Cablenet is also prioritizing the continued, seamless offering of communication and entertainment services to its subscribers. Cablenet and Μ.Κ. Telefone mutually agree to end their partnership.

Cablenet and Telefone announce that they have mutually agreed to terminate their partnership effective October 1, 2021. Consequently, as of the above date, Cablenet Subscribers will no longer receive customer support in the Telefone stores, either for existing or new services. The two companies thank each other for their cooperation and wish each other all the best in their future endeavours.
