Announcement: Change in Basic Mobile plan monthly fee

Cablenet, based on its Contracts with its Subscribers, informs that as of August 1, 2026 the monthly fee for the Basic Mobile plan will be adjusted as follows:

Discontinuation of Cablenet Email Account service

We would like to inform our subscribers that the email service currently provided through Cablenet’s email platform will be discontinued on 31 December 2026.

Following this date, email addresses and mailboxes hosted on Cablenet’s email platform will no longer be available. Subscribers who wish to retain any emails, contacts, or files stored in their mailbox are advised to transfer this information to another personal email account before the service is discontinued.

To ensure a smooth transition, the following steps are recommended:

Step 1: Save or export any emails, contacts, and files you wish to retain from your mailbox.
Step 2: Set up an automatic forwarding/redirect rule on your Cablenet email account so that incoming emails are automatically forwarded to your new email address until 31 December 2026.
Step 3: Update the email address associated with any online accounts, subscriptions, or services where your Cablenet email address is currently registered.
Step 4: Inform your contacts of your new email address, where applicable.

Please note that after 31 December 2026, access to the mailbox will no longer be available, and it will no longer be possible to send or receive emails through the Cablenet email platform.

Following the discontinuation of the service, backup copies of mailbox data will be retained for a period of three (3) months. During this period, requests for data retrieval may be submitted by email to [email protected]. After 31 March 2027, any remaining data will be permanently and irreversibly deleted.

This change applies only to the email service provided through Cablenet’s email platform. All other Cablenet services will remain unaffected.

Announcement: Termination of non-commercially available Mobile Telephony Plans

Cablenet Communication Systems PLC (“Cablenet”) informs you that as of 1st of April 2026, it will proceed with the termination of the non-commercially available mobile plans “Mobile Data King” and “Purple Max Mobile”.

All existing subscribers of the mobile plans listed below will be automatically upgraded to the “5G Unlimited Plan” once their current offer expires.

Scheduled Upgrade of the Television Platform

As part of the continuous upgrade of our infrastructure and services, maintenance work will be carried out on the television service to ensure the highest possible quality. During this time, on January 26 from 01:00 to 06:00, a scheduled partial service interruption will take place.

During the upgrade, there will be changes to the channel tuning settings. Depending on the type of decoder or equipment you use, different actions may be required.

Amino decoders

Amino decoders will automatically return to normal operation after the completion of the maintenance.
If you experience any issues, please perform a simple restart of the decoder.

Arion / Intek Decoders

 

Subscribers using an Arion or Intek decoder will need to retune their channels.

 

Channel retuning steps for Arion / Intek decoders:

  1. Press the Menu button on the remote control
  2. Select Settings
  3. Select Channel Installation and press OK
  4. Select Automatic Channel Search and press OK
  5. Select Start and press OK
  6. Once the process is complete, select Save and press OK

Important note:
If your decoder remains in standby mode (standby, front LED is red) for more than 5 minutes using the ON/OFF button on the remote control, the channel list will be updated automatically without any further action required on your part.

CI+ Card

For CI+ cards, retuning of your television will be required. Please refer to your TV’s user manual and use the following network settings:

  • Network ID: 1
  • Starting Frequency: 610000 KHz
  • Symbol Rate: 6950 MS/sec
  • Modulation: 256 QAM

ANNOUNCEMENT: Free upgrade for Internet 50M subscribers to Purple Internet 300Mbps.

Cablenet informs its subscribers that, the Internet 50M plan has been automatically upgraded to Purple Internet 300Mbps.

The upgrade applies to all Internet 50M subscribers and does not require any additional cost or action on their part. With this upgrade, the subscribers will enjoy six times the speed at no extra cost.

This upgrade applies to all Mobile Data King subscribers and does not require any additional cost or action on their part.

With this upgrade, the subscribers will enjoy even greater value from their mobile phone plan.

Announcement: Change in charges to the 11800 directory information service

 Cablenet informs, as its obligation according to 256/2018, that, as of March 1st , 2025, new charges will apply for calls to Primetel’s Directory Enquiry Service (11800). The new charges for calls from Cablenet’s fixed and mobile telephone lines increases to €1.10 per call and €0.11 per 15 seconds (incl. VAT).
