Applications Specialist – Systems Analyst (SA825)

Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Identify options for potential solutions and assess them for both technical and business suitability
  • Conduct requirements analysis and prepare specific proposals for modified or replacement systems
  • Maintain process flow, configuration, operation, and user documentation
  • Maintain a stable and accurate Application production and test instance that meets user/ client needs and is in line with compliance and audit policies
  • Develop automated testing processes for Web & Mobile Application User Interfaces, as well as APIs
  • Design, implement, and support Microsoft Power Automate flows to streamline and automate business processes
  • Provide functional support for both business process issues/business applications, and resolve technical issues
  • Provide operational support and collaborate with external vendors to resolve business application problems
  • Support users on change control and system updates
  • Work closely with programmers, developers, testers, and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction
  • Develop and execute system testing and test plans as required
  • Provide documentation of all processes and training as needed
  • Development and execution of system tests and test plans (UAT Plan)
  • Management of support requests (tickets)
  • Identify, document application integration requirements and design, implement, and maintain them as appropriate with vendor(s) support
  • Monitor vendor updates regularly and stay informed with new features/approaches/trends of the relevant enterprise applications and the industry by attending relevant trainings/conferences and meetings with vendors
  • keep up to date with technical and industry developments
  • Collaborate with other IT functions for the implementation of the required IT infrastructure
  • Manage assigned projects and program components in a team working environment (internal and external) to deliver services per established objectives
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 1 – 2 years of experience in business applications lifecycle (development – implementation – support) in Telecoms, Corporate, Document Management, process automation, etc., including requirements gathering, design, configuration, unit testing, and integration testing
  • Experience dealing with a complex IT ecosystem (considered an advantage)
  • Project management experience (considered an advantage)
  • Knowledge and experience with agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban (considered an advantage)
  • Experience with the Katalon Platform for test automation (considered an advantage)
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Automate, including building and maintaining automated workflows (considered an advantage)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills to enable multitasking and timely follow-up
  • Ability to use own initiative, prioritize, and work independently
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
