Cablenet introduces Think Sports Go Purple, its new corporate social responsibility programme designed to support and promote the ideals of sports and education through sports!
In launching the Think Sports Go Purple programme, Cablenet is partnering with sports academies for children that offer a variety of activities including football, basketball, karate, water polo and water skiing.
The programme currently supports over 20 sports academies for children under the age of 18 in all cities and serves approximately 3,000 young athletes. At the same time, Cablenet will ensure the continued support of the activities of the academies participating in the Think Sports Go Purple programme by conducting training seminars so that they can provide the best possible support to the children. In this context, Cablenet will assist both parents and children with special seminars organised by a scientific team offering psychological, pediatric and nutritional advice and support.
Pambos Moyseos, Commercial Manager of Cablenet, explains, “At Cablenet, we believe in the importance of sports education. We want to promote the ideals of sports, see talented athletes of all ages grow up and motivate more children to play a sport, any sport because it will help them in all aspects of their lives. Also, we live in a time where it is important that we all act like athletes. We need to be healthy, exercise the body and cultivate the mind, work as a team and respect others.”
Once again, Cablenet proves its determination to apply responsible practices, creating the conditions for children to learn to assess their abilities correctly and objectively and to always give their best, for a better future, for a better life!
