Pre-Sales and Solution Design Manager (BCP3325)

Job Description

We are seeking a Pre-Sales & Solution Design Manager to lead technical engagements, design innovative solutions, and support sales teams in delivering value to clients. This role requires technical expertise, business acumen, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Understand and leverage the company’s infrastructure, including Data Centres, Optical Transport Networks, MPLS networks, International Connectivity Networks, and DDoS solutions, to attract and secure new business.
  • Manage solution design, costing, and pricing for International Wholesale and Interconnectivity market requests.
  • Design technical solutions for Public and Private Enterprise tenders, ensuring high-value, competitive project wins.
  • Support post-sale implementation and consulting, ensuring seamless end-to-end customer experience.
  • Identify key initiatives to improve B2B products, operational efficiency, automation, and user experience.
  • Act as a technology expert within business think tanks, contributing to product strategies with the Product Development team.
  • Develop frameworks, policies, and processes to establish an efficient Pre-Sales and Business Solution Design workflow.
  • Set strategic goals, priorities, and KPIs, ensuring they are measurable and aligned with company objectives.
  • Maintain and communicate an ongoing 12-month roadmap for Pre-Sales and Business Solution Design initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Pre-Sales within the telecom or ICT industry, with a focus on business development.
  • Proven experience in telecom infrastructure design, tenders, and project delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, MPLS, BGP, OSPF) and telecom infrastructure (Data Centres, PoPs, Optical Transport, DDoS solutions).
  • Experience in international wholesale, SD-WAN, and DWDM is an advantage.
  • Ability to drive sales efforts for equipment, connectivity solutions, and ICT services.
  • Customer-focused approach with the ability to align solutions with client needs and identify new business opportunities.
