Prepaid Mobile Identification

Identity Verification

If you are both the user and the owner of the line, you can complete the Prepaid Identification process digitally, without visiting a Cablenet store. This is possible through a third-party partner. You can find more information here.

Please confirm the following in order to proceed with the Cablenet Prepaid Identification process:

Acceptable Identification Documents

  • Cypriot nationality citizens will be identified with their Government ID.
  • EU citizens will be identified with their ID or passport.
  • Citizens from countries outside the EU will be identified with their passport.
  • Citizens from countries outside the EU without a passport can be identified in a Cablenet store.

Remote Digital Identification

Remote digital identification is enabled by Cablenet’s partner, Shufti Pro, by following the steps below:

  1. Submit the image from your Passport/ID in which your personal information can be clearly viewed (Full Name, Date of Birth, Passport/ID Number, Passport/ID Expiry Date). Submission can be done by taking a photo of your Passport/ID. For verification purposes, you will be asked to take a live photo of your face from your device's camera.
