Cablenet and Telefone announce that they have mutually agreed to terminate their partnership effective October 1, 2021.
Consequently, as of the above date, Cablenet Subscribers will no longer receive customer support in the Telefone stores, either for existing or new services.
The two companies thank each other for their cooperation and wish each other all the best in their future endeavours.

We inform our Subscribers that the forthcoming change of frequencies from Velister company, concerning the Digital Terrestrial TV Network, does NOT affect any Subscriber on Cablenet’s TV platform and no action is required by Subscribers. Additionally, Subscribers who do not have a decoder (e.g. only have Internet services) are not affected either.
As per government instructions to prevent the spread of COVID -19, a SafePass is required for citizens 12 years of age and older to enter the store.
It is noted that citizens 12 years of age and older must present one of the following forms of proof to obtain a SafePass:
1. A vaccination certificate with at least one dose and after a period of 3 weeks has passed. Citizens may present the Vaccination Card given to them at Vaccination Centres.
2. Proof that a person has contracted COVID -19 in the last 6 months. Citizens can present the clearance SMS or the recovery SMS sent to their mobile phone by the Ministry of Health.
3. If any of the above is not applicable, as an interim solution, citizens aged 12 years and above have the option to present a negative test certificate from a PCR or rapid test that is valid for 72 hours.
The EU Digital Covid Certificate can also be used as proof.
Cablenet is actively participating in the Cyprus Government’s efforts to address the COVID -19 pandemic and is offering an additional incentive for young people to get vaccinated.
Specifically, individuals between the ages of 18 and 25 who present their vaccination card and ID card at any Cablenet store will be able to get:

Within the framework of the digital upgrading of its procedures and in prioritising safe and contactless transactions, Cablenet, in accordance with its Subscriber contracts, would like to inform Subscribers that, as of the 10th of April 2021, the cash payment of bills, will no longer be possible at its stores.
All Cablenet Subscribers will be able to settle their bills easily, instantly and securely in one of the following ways:
Via the Cablenet Subscriber portal, cablenet.me, using their access code.
Via pay.cablenet.me, for immediate settlement of their bill (no access code required).
Via www.jccsmart.com in the ‘Telephone and TV Providers’ category.
Via Web Banking, selecting ‘Telecommunications Bill Payment’ option (Hellenic Bank, Bank of Cyprus, Alpha Bank).
Via Direct Debit payment.
Via Debit or Credit Card payment.
If any Subscriber wishes to terminate their services due to the specific change, they have the right to do so without any early termination charges until April 10, 2021.

Something new to discover at Cablenet! Cablenet will start broadcasting today, 1 September 2021, Cablenet Sports 3HD, the new sports channel that will cover the sporting events of all federations through live and exclusive broadcasts.
Cablenet subscribers can now enjoy exclusively, volleyball, handball, basketball, water polo, swimming, athletics, martial arts, artistic gymnastics, and drift tournaments!
The Cablenet Sports 3HD channel will only be available to Cablenet subscribers in the Sports TV packages.
Cablenet, based on the contracts with its Subscribers, would like to inform them of the upcoming removal of Discovery Showcase HD channel (position 201) from the Variety Xtra TV and Complete TV packages, due to the termination of its operation by the content provider.
The Discovery Showcase HD channel will be removed on 28th December 2020.
In case any Subscriber wishes to terminate their service due to this change, they have the right to do so without any termination fees, until 28th December 2020.

In accordance with its Subscriber contracts, Cablenet would like to inform Subscribers who acquired the Ultra WiFi, Powered by Plume HomePass®, service between 25/11/2019 and 29/11/2019 that the monthly fee for that service has been modified to €1.99.
The above reduction will be applied to those Subscribers’ bills starting from December 2020 onwards.
It should be noted that the price for every additional SuperPod™ remains unchanged at €3.00 per month.
